Hood River would be a beautiful place to settle and lots of fun things to do!
We vote for Payson, AZ. It's about an hour from Mesa, and in the summer, it's at around 15 degrees cooler. And, they have the best Mexican restaurant there. What else do you need? Oh, yes, and to remind you of Vegas, there's a little Indian casino there too. Next time you visit, we'll take a drive there - Cindy
I live between Leavenworth and Wenatchee in the small town of Cashmere. I absolutely love it on this side of the Cascades. 4 seasons, great recreation, and lots of good people.
